first steps

As  noted  above,  Hardaway  doesn’t  try  to  be  all  things  to  all  people.  Quite  the  opposite.  These  are  unique  times,  so  we  must  respect  this  fact  and  adjust similarly. But  how?  By  understanding  and  respecting  the  true  nature  of  the  problem... 

Coronavirus  has challenged the  American  medical  system , including  manufacturing,  to  its  core.  Suddenly  getting  PPE  was  no  longer  an  inalienable  right,  rather  it  was  an  alien  fight! China  has  become  the  epicenter of  that  fight, and that along with the unprecedented spike  in  demand  has  created  an  environment likened  to  the  Wild  West  of  old.  Now  instead  of  simple  pricing  challenges,  all  manner  of  distribution,  logistics,  fraud,  and  governmental  interaction  must  be  considered.  But  how???  

There is elegance in simplicity,  so in considering  how  best  to  approach  the  issues  being  faced  during  this Coronavirus  pandemic, the thought of ’not reinventing the wheel’ kept coming up. In turn this led to Hardaway’s decision to focus on Strategic Alliances. This choice allows for maximum Flexibility to  be  retained,  since  no  one  partner  or  service  provider has  to  perform all  services.  Each  need  and  situation  is  different,  so  by  shying  away  from  the  traditional partnership  structures,  and  focusing  on  Strategic  Alliances,  the  best  solution  can  be  brought  to  bear  on  the  issue  time  and  time  again.  By  example,  Hardaway  has  entered  into  SA  agreements  with  companies  in  the  Disaster  Recovery,  Chemicals  &  Oil  and  Gas,  and  Logistics  (Military)  within  the  last  month  alone.  

The  second  piece  of  the  Strategic  Alliance puzzle  revolves  around American companies with MATERIAL PRE-EXISTING   manufacturing, distribution, and logistical channels in China.  Any such company will already have the experience and relationships to operate, even in the times such as this, in China. Furthermore, given  these  American  companies  purchased  hundreds  of  millions  worth  of  products,    the Chinese manufacturer will not want to put future revenue streams at risk  by  defrauding  or  disappointing their  US  Customer.  

The  core  of  our  success  comes  from the  ability  to  THINK.  What  does  that  mean?  It  simply  means  to  stop  and  think  versus  blindly  following  the same  path  as  others  before you.  

Another  core  concept  that  drives  our  business  is  SINCERE  HONESTY. We  will  not  take  an  assignment  that  we  do  not  believe  can be fulfilled  or  met.  We  will  not take  the  assignment  betting  on  a  PO  change  later.  We  also  will  engage  you  and  your  team  in  real  time  to  insure  you  know  the  latest  in  regards  to  your  order  and  the  broader  market.      

While there is nothing inherently wrong with using international  contracts, Hardaway performs the majority of its assignments with American-based contracts. When it matters the most or something has gone wrong, a contract that has standards and structure that most are accustomed  to becomes, literally, invaluable.   Seems  simple  enough...until  a  contract  written  Mandarin  and  denominated  in  Yuan/Renminbi  is  placed  in  rront  of  you....
